The Thin Red Line - Day 3

It is always hard to talk about stereotypes. Even more, it is hard even to say them loudly not alone discuss them in a multicultural environment with people coming from a young states with old history.

The second day offered us the biggest challenges so far: to talk about the stereotypes and the prejudices we have for each other. Well, it may sound as easy as a piece of cake but it turned out to be the hardest thing ever. There was only to task to achieve - to write a song in a particular style pop, opera, R'n'B and to make a performance on a particular topic. It would have been easy, if the topic wasn't "the stereotypes on the Balkans".

To complete the task, we were divided in groups randomly. The teams had three hours to finish their first task before their performance in front of a jury. Refusal to accept what others think about your country. Frustration. Explanation. Explanation. That is what made the task difficult.

In live everything goes in pairs - bad and bad, happiness and misery, black and white. This turned out to be the case in Day 3 because the second task was much easier to achieve. After accepting other people differences, it was easy to start work as a team and thing in one direction.

It wouldn't be faire if we hadn't mentioned the presentation of Youthpass which might play a crucial role in our career. So, instead of  wasting time on explaining what Youthpass is we will stop writing here and go for creating one ;-)
